SkillBuilder is a web application that can be integrated into learning environments to help students develop and improve their skills in STEM programs. Instructors can use SkillBuilder in classes and laboratories of all sizes to assess student skills and provide them with rapid, actionable feedback to fuel their improvement. SkillBuilder is based on the novel ELIPSS feedback-based skill rubrics and science practices rubrics. It supports active learning pedagogies, skill-based programmatic assessment, and provides a data collection mechanism for science education research.
